Good Friday, also called Holy Friday, Great Friday or Black Friday, is a religious holiday mostly observed by Christianity believers commemorating the crucifixion of Jesus and His death at Golgotha. It is the very day when Jesus Christ saved our sins and died for us. Before Jesus Christ died on the cross, he uttered seven last sayings.

1. "Father forgive them, for they know not what they do."
This first saying of Jesus upon the cross was Jesus' prayer for forgiveness for those who were crucifying Him: the Roman soldiers, and apparently for all others who were involved in His crucifixion.
2. "Truly, I say to you, today you will be with me in paradise." This is the line that Jesus replies to the other crucified thief who supports Jesus innocence and asks Him to remember him when He comes into His kingdom.
3. "Woman, behold your son: Behold your mother."
"Woman, behold your son" is what Jesus told to His mother and "behold your mother" to His disciples.
4. "Eli Eli lama sabachthani?" or "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?
Around the ninth hour in the cross, He shouted this line out loud.
5. "I thirst."
This line represents the total humanity of Jesus Christ, His thirst for God.
6. "It is finished".
Jesus announcement of His completed work which is atonement.
7. "Father, into your hands I commit my spirit".
Jesus uttered this before His last breath.

With all the burdens we made that Jesus carried and washed, the least thing we can do to repay His goodness is to avoid ourselves from committing sins. Have a good day to all!
