Electronic wise, we truly are living in a fast-paced world nowadays. With our modernized world, it seems like inventing gadgets and stuffs is just like a blink of an eye that buying new stuff today becomes obsolete tomorrow. New trends are coming out being introduced every passing day and I can only wish to buy every new invention that is coming out in the market. If only I could.

So, here are my obsolete items with photos of my updated wish list.

1. Computers (Acer Desktop and Toshiba Satellite Laptops). When Sony Vaio laptop first introduced here in the Philippines, oh yes, I felt like Toshiba is no longer in. Everyone is using Sony Viao laptops now! Then a much smaller net book (kind of) but a much bigger than iPod came out which is this invention called iPad, I was alarmed although it didn't reach the Philippines yet but we surely can order it online. And oh, there are touch screen dual core laptops and desktop monitors nowadays.

2. Nokia N95 Mobile Phone. When I bought my Nokia N95, it was still one of items in some people’s ‘wish list’. My classmates were shocked because I had the most expensive phone in the entire class. Then there came N97, N98 and so on and so forth. My phone is totally outdated in the list when Blackberry phones and iPhones first came out.

3. Xbox. Our Xbox is definitely outdated by Xbox 360. Then, lately another updated version of Xbox 360 came out, the Xbox 360 Slim. Oh, do I need to mention Sony PlayStation 3? What about Play Station Portable?

4. Televisions. We have two televisions in the house that are totally considered obsolete nowadays. One is placed downstairs in our little living room, a Slim Flat Screen TV and one is in our room, a Tube one. These are superseded by Plasma HDTV.

5. Digital Cameras. We totally have three digital cameras, Sony Cybershot W200, Nikon Coolpix S5 and Olympus Ệ500. These are considered outdated by the newly updated version of each. Oh please, don’t let me mention the touch screen version of Sony cybershot digital camera in my wish list.

6. Portable Music Player. I have a portable cassette player which was known as “walkman”. It was very popular back then. I just checked it 3 days ago if it is still working and it still is. After walkman, portable cd player came out. I have it too and still working but totally outdated by touchscreen mp4 players with wifi for quite a long time now.

7. Printer. With wireless all-in-one printer, oh yeah, my Epson Stylus C90 printer has been totally outdated.

This is plain to say that whatever you buy off the shelf today is considered outdated because manufacturers already have it in the process for update.  Whatever you have that many might considered obsolete, don't give it up as long as it is still working. I am not giving up mine but I do wish for updated versions. I just wish!
