Where is Papskie?

I forgot to share these pictures last night. I just found them cool as it never happened before. I was looking for my Papa last night to ask him to eat his dinner (I always have to force him to eat every meal) but I wasn't able to find him. I didn't know he was in my room watching a horror movie. I knew the TV in my room doesn't work. It had malfunctioned the day I moved in to this apartment. I thought it was damaged during the moving. But dad was able to fix it last night I bet for he was watching a movie on that TV. He might have gone tired listening to the metal songs I played in my computer last night that he decided to just watch a movie upstairs, in my room.

How did I know he was up there? I was nursing my sister Cheem for she has fever (until now). I took her foods and medicines to her room when she asked me if I was watching the movie again that we had just watched earlier that day. I said no. She said maybe the neighbor was watching the movie for she kept hearing the scary song the killer ghost in the movie sings. I was alarmed by the thought that my sister had gone delirious due to high fever. So I told her to finish her dinner and then take her medicines. Just as I was about to go downstairs, I heard some sounds in my room and when I opened the door, I saw father watching the movie. I sighed with relief - my sister's not delirious and I found papskie.

I'll talk about the movie later. I am tired going up to my room at this moment to look for it and its title. But see on the TV screen if you are familiar with the scene. I link this blog post to 366 Blog Photo Challenge - Day 27.

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Walgreens for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

Commodity nowadays seems to be overly beyond affordable. The prices of whether goods or services are rapidly and uncontrollably increasing day by day. That goes the same with health and medication expense.  When before getting sick was expensive, now it is more expensive, a lot more. Daily expenses on medicines will truly ditch your wallet, not to mention the daily fees for a hospital room when confined. Sum all those amounts; let us say for five days confinement, you’ll get a huge number on your total hospital bill. But if you have a health prescription, you can save a lot off your hospital bills, including the medicines.

Since ailment is inevitable, everyone must be ready for it. One must get health prescription. Walgreens Prescription Savings Club offers a special discount on your annual membership. You can get an individual membership for $5 and a family membership for $10 per year. I find family membership a better option because it covers your spouse, your children of up to 22 years old and pets. Other benefits you can get from Walgreens Savings Club prescription include savings on more than 8,000 brand-name and all generic medications on flu shots, nebulizers, diabetic supplies and even on pet prescriptions. You can as well get bonuses from purchasing Walgreens brand products and photofinishing services. You should prescribe now for your entire family. My CPU is Back

My CPU is back. Thank God! Octagon called me today afternoon was I was still asleep for I slept late yesterday from attending a friend's birthday. Knowing it was Octagon that called, I went to the computer shop right away to pick my CPU. Good thing I didn't need to pay for the repair because it is still under warranty. I forgot about it. It saved me some pesos.

I checked on my saved files right away when I arrived at my apartment with the CPU and glad all my files are still there, including the blog layouts I designed in Power Point. Now I can continue working on the job I left hanging. There are blog designing jobs that I need to finalize and articles I need to publish. I am running out of time since deadline is fast approaching. It means I'll be a busy bee again tonight.

White Flash Engagement Rings

Who doesn't long to have even a tiny piece of diamond on jewelry? Women will never raise hands to that question. I myself admit I long for it but because it is expensive, I’ll just prefer to keep longing. For sure you've already heard the popular line "a woman's best friend" when talking about diamonds. Well, you can’t blame us women because diamonds bring not only class and luxury to our look when worn but also it adds beauty and elegance to every piece of metal we are wearing whether it is a ring, an earring or a pendant. Have you seen the collection of custom diamond pendants in White Flash? Never in my life I’ve had worn a diamond pendant and looking their collection only made me drool.

Because diamonds are precious, they are obviously expensive that they are mostly worn by celebrities and other people who are well-off. It may not be the most expensive gemstone there is as some said the most expensive are the rarest ones but I believe it is the most famous among other gemstones especially when it comes to jewelry and accessory making. It is what most jewelry makers prefer to use to adorn the precious white, rose and yellow gold metals because of its hardness forming into beautiful engagement rings and other forms of jewelry.

Speaking of engagement rings, diamonds are known to be famous when it comes to making the said rings. An engagement ring wouldn't be an engagement ring without diamonds. As earlier noticed, diamonds bring beauty and elegance and that applies to an engagement ring. Check out the sophisticated styles of houston diamond engagement rings at White Flash, one of the trusted jewelry shops where you can buy diamond rings online. Don’t forget to check out their collection of wedding bands and rings too.

A Busy Bee - Me

Time check: it is 2:49 a.m. right at this moment I finished writing this first sentence. Obviously I am still awake at this very moment. I have been a busy bee since yesterday...and until today. For the first time, I am loaded with a lot of writing jobs. For me who haven't been blessed with more than three writing jobs a day, I can say "a lot" for it's not just two or three but eight jobs with reasonable compensation, even more reasonable for my writing skill. I am too overwhelmed with it. I do hope though that all eight articles will be approved. I am not boasting here nor complaining, I am liking it actually. I am liking this reason of being a busy bee for it means getting a living. If only it could be like this everyday, I would gladly accept. Thank God!

By the way, to all Chinese bloggers and friends, I hope it is not too late to greet you a Happy Chinese New Year / Kung Hei Fat Choi / Xīnnián kuàilè / 新年快樂!!!

Auntie's Moment of Vain

We just took my uncle, the husband of my mother's elder sister, to his final resting place last Friday at one in the afternoon after the mass in Sta. Filomena Parish Church. Many of the family, relatives and friends came along to support the family of the deceased in that very moment of vain. The moment when they could only do a final glance at their beloved who couldn't be with them anymore physically. Although many would utter soothing words to calm the raging painful emotions of the family, still it is unacceptable that the person you most love have already left the world and couldn't be seen, couldn't be touched anymore. Seeing my aunt and her children crying as the worker finally covered the grave was very heartbreaking. It was too painful I know. At this time when the pain of being left by a loved-one is still fresh, it's hard for them to accept that they could no longer see him walking, talking, laughing but I know they'll forget the pain eventually and all that they can remember are the happy memories.

13/366 BPC - Looking Tall

Here's another shot taken the same night I hugged an impostor snowman and tried opening a tightly wrapped Christmas gift. This picture actually was taken before I did those things. Thanks to Pabz for making me look tall and skinny in this picture. I modeled this red bike which is temporarily mine. A friend borrowed money from me in exchange to this bike, a smart exchange for the money I lend to. Anyway, the reason why I was in the boulevard early that morning was to buy balot as I was craving for it and then to do some walking. I did buy balot but I didn't do the walking. Lazy me! Mud Fish Scare

I was freaking out one morning when I heard Cheem, my younger sister screaming from the bathroom. I was upstairs just woke and was about to come down when I heard it. I hurried downstairs and to bathroom only to find out that the mud fish scared her. It was alive and wiggling on the Bathroom Floor Tiles. I got my eyebrows raised with confusion. Fish in not something that scares my sister. But what really scared her is that she didn't know it was there in the bathroom. She was peeing when suddenly slippery thing moving at her foot and at her glance, she thought it was a snake. How the heck it got itself there anyway? I knew there was one alive mud fish left from the ten mud fish father's friend gave to him but I didn't know he put it in a bucket in the bathroom. It must have managed to jump off the bucket for some bathroom exploration. Lol! Cheem got too scared that she fell her butt down the toilet bowl. That was ridiculous! She was the laughing stock that day.

12/366 BPC - Christmas Gifts Under the Tree

As a continuation to the photo of me hugging the impostor giant snowman, here's another photo taken still in the man-made land of USA in the Dipolog City boulevard. This time, I was opening (trying to) the gifts Santa dropped under a tree not far away from the snowman. The trembling rain shower didn't stop me from opening the first gift only to find out it was properly wrapped. I gave up and decided to buy balut instead. Credit to my photographer for capturing my moment of amusement. I link this to 366 Blog Photo Challenge.

366 BPC: Me and The Giant Snowman

Ha? Chie goes to the US of A? In her dreams.

Unfortunately, the snowman I was hugging was really not a snowman. It's an impostor! Lol! It's only made of wood, the skeleton or frame, formed into a make-believe snowman covered with white cloth. This giant snowman was one of the amusements in the boulevard. It voluntarily bounced from the USA, its hat can tell, to Dipolog City to give amusement to the by-passers,visitors and chillers at the boulevard. I was fortunate enough to be able to hug it one early morning while I was there to buy balut. At such a short moment, I felt like I was in the United States of America.

Credit to my friend for taking this picture of me with my father on my 25th birthday. It is very seldom to see him in pictures with us as he doesn't like camera flash that much. My birthday went just fine even though my mother and brother weren't able to come over and celebrate it. My father, sisters and friends made my birthday celebration fun at least.

#7/366 Blog Photo Challenge - Christmas Gifts

These are the Christmas gifts that my sister and I helped getting and wrapping for our parents, brother and the kids in the house after celebrating my little birthday party at my apartment in Dipolog City. We brought these gifts on the afternoon of the 25th since we didn't able to come home on the Christmas Eve. So the opening of gifts happened on the night of December 25, still Christmas. I enjoyed looking at the recipients excited faces as they opened their gifts. I wrapped Unisilver watches for father, brother and sisters and a Secosana bag for my mother. It was nice looking at their happy faces to have at least received a gift on Christmas. I was able to open gifts that night too. I received a Bobson top from Cheep and a pair of Unisilver butterfly earrings from Cheem. We didn't wrap gifts this year for all my godchildren for I did not have the money for it. It was sad but the current financial situation couldn't be helped. We didn't even have a Christmas preparation, which was alright. At least we all were able to be together on Christmas day.

The photos below were taken on the New Year's Eve.

We had a lot of fun firing the few fireworks we had on that Eve.

My Page Rank 2 Shirt

This is a very late blog post entry to claim my prize - a page rank shirt to Gagay's contest. I am so sorry for I've been very busy going out and about last December not to mention the busy preparations for the special occasions I've celebrated during that month. There were two birthdays (mine and my youngest sister's) to prepare, the Christmas eve, alumni homecoming and New Year. Last month/year was pretty a busy month for me so I hope I could still get a chance to claim my consolation prize, which is a medium Page Rank 2 Shirt. Could I, Ms. G?
