I am not feeling ok today. Actually we, hubby and me, are both not feeling good. We bonded last night, cuddled, laughed, talked and most of the time, cried. Thinking of this temporary parting time is slowly sinking in and it doesn't feel good. Anyway, I am playing my role as a Sunday Stealing thief, obviously. I know I am a bit late but this sure is counted.

Cheers to all of us thieves!

Finding It Hard To Leave

Hubby took another month of extension. He said he needs the time to finally pinpoint his  mind that he is leaving. He needs the time to be with me for at least another month. It is very heart warming knowing your husband find it hard to leave even it is only temporary due to work. I feel loved. I feel my hair growing longer and longer every time I hear him say he just can't leave me not because he doesn't trust me but because he doesn't like it when I am out of his sight. It simply means he loves me that much. It may sound boastful to you but it's true for I feel it everyday. He has proven it when he jeopardized his work in exchange of living a life with me for more than two years. He has proven his love and I cannot question his love for more.  Instead, I give him back the love he has given to me for I love him too as much as he does. If only I can go with him, I would. If only he can take me with him, he surely would but not just yet. As what everyone said, patience is a virtue. We'll just wait for him to finish working and then we are set to be with each other for life. To my dear husband, thank you for the love. No one had given me the love you are giving to me. I love you sobra!

Life Is Good Award

It's been a while since this blog of mine received an award. Yesterday seemed like the blog skies smiled on me for I got one. It is an "Life is Good" given by Shy of Simple Happy Life and Mary Anne of  My Little Home. Thank you so much sis Shy and sis Anne.

Rules:

1. Answer the 10 questions.
2. Give this award to six other bloggers
3. Link back to the person who gave this award.
4. Let them know about the award.

1. If you blog anonymously, are you happy doing it that way; if you are not anonymous do you wish you had started out anonymously so you could be anonymous now?
I am not an anonymous blogger but I honestly thought about it. In the end, the eagerness to share my life and anything that I like sharing won over the thought of being anonymous for there is no use of sharing about yourself when your name is not even known in the blog land.

2. Describe one incident that shows your inner stubborn side.
Breaking the curfew, jumping off the window and went to a disco. It was fun as long as you won't get yourself caught because if you are you'll get salt on your knees or worst, mongo beans. Ouch!

3. What do you see when you really look at yourself in the mirror?
I see a soft-hearted woman in the body of a young hard-working, ruthless and driven person.

4. What is your favorite summer cold drink?
Summer or not, it is Coca-Cola!

5. When you take time for yourself, what do you do?
I pamper myself with a good bath that takes about 2 or more hours and then I eat while watching movies.

6. Is there something you still want to accomplish in your life? What is it?
There are few things that I want to accomplish like finishing college and getting my degree, getting a stable high paying job, starting my own profitable business,  and traveling to places I've been longing to visit.

7. When you attended school, were you the class clown, the class overachiever, the class shy person, or always ditching school?
I would say a class clown when it was class break time, but during classes hours I was shy especially when teachers called me up to answer questions.

8. If you close your eyes and want to visualize a very poignant moment in your life, what do you see?
I see me taking care of my siblings alone. No parents. My mother was away trying to apply for a job to Africa while my father was spending most of his time to his other woman. It was hard and never will I allow that moment to come again.

9. Is it easy for you to share your true self in your blog or are you more comfortable writing posts about other people or events?
There are things that I feel so easy to share about my self but I have limits. The main reason of sharing myself is to let the feeling out but when it comes to majorly personal stories about my life, I rather keep it to myself.

10. If you had the choice to sit and read or talk on the phone, which would you do and why?
If given a choice to sit, I would sit in front my computer and do whatever I want to do online.

I am giving this award to anyone in my blog list. Please do grab this whenever you want.

Photo Posters As Wall Decorations

A photo poster of your favorite family picture can be an awesome decoration for your blank walls. If you cannot think of anything to decorate your bedroom wall, why not pick your best photo whether you are alone striking your model-like pose or a photo of you and your whole family.
I actually thought about using a photo poster of me together with my husband, parents and siblings taken last Christmas to decorate our blank wall opposite our stairway. It would also be great to use a wedding portrait of me and hubby. I have few medium sized photos of us taken on our wedding day but couldn’t hang it on the wall yet because I still have to find a frames that fit for the size of the photos which I haven’t found yet. And knowing about photo posters to decorate the wall is just a right time for it is a good alternative if I can’t find photo frames. I just have to have it enlarged according to my size preference, order a print of it online and there I have an instant wall decoration.

Photo poster also is a great option if you can’t afford to buy expensive wall decorations or any other wall decorations that could hurt your budget because a single large print of photo poster doesn’t cost that much. You can get a large photo poster print for as low as 3 dollars.

Done With The Immigration

We were at the immigration office today and paid hubby's overstay fee and extension fee for few days which is until the 26th of this month. The plan of going there was supposedly yesterday but hubby fell asleep in the middle of watching Threshold show. Well, we are glad that after a couple of years of procrastination, we were able to accomplish the most important thing we needed to do today. We are glad it flown smoothly. Thanks to the very considerate staff at the immigration to consider the 2 years and few months of overstay in the Philippines. When hubby was asked why he didn't leave the country after 16 months, [which, according to the staff is the only limit for foreigners to overstay in the Philippines] he answered because he doesn't want to leave his wife. As expected, hubby's answer amazed the staff and gave me goose bumps. So by 26, this month, hubby will be packing his baggage for a long trip back to his homeland.

For now, we'll be off to Manukan to visit my parents so it means, I can't still blog hop and read your blogs my dear blogging sisters. I hope you'll forgive me for that. I'll make it up to you as soon as everything here is taken care of. And oh, to answer the questions of  my blogging sisters to my past post about hubby leaving the country, I can't go with him in States yet because first, my husband has no house in there. I mean, his mom and sister yes, but he doesn't want to leave me with their care while he is at work. Second, his job is in a war zone and taking me with him there is the last thing on his mind. Honestly, I don't want to be in a war zone either. So still, we can't be together. Bye for now guys. Catch you up later.

3-Light Glass Chandelier

Home lightings are essential things to have around the house because it will give light during the dark hours and will embellish your home at the same time. If you’ll go for stylish ones that compliment your stylish tastes, it may be classic or modern style home lighting, there is one place I know where you can acquire those and that is in lightingtheweb.com. Fill your eyes with the site’s beautiful home lighting collection and quench your thirst for discounted items because there are lots of lightings up on sale like wall lamp, bathroom light, light pendant, chandelier and a lot more. The site as well offers volume discounts to builders and homeowners who make a large order.

While on the site, my eyes fell on the awesome mini pendant chandeliers in its collection. I was like choosing the one we could use for our new home but since all are beautiful, choosing which one was quite hard. Finally, I found one that I like best and is perfect for our living room. It is a 3-light glass chandelier from Elk Lighting Classico Collection with rust finish. I like it because it is unique. It is like 3 wine glasses hung upside down. Plus I am sure hubby will like the rust finish on the glasses that hold the light bulbs for it came out looking like hard wood which is cool. There are many more beautiful home lighting to choose in there so give lightingtheweb.com a visit.

I  was trying to model the canon hoping somebody will buy it but no one can't afford for it was not for sale. haha! I was not married in this picture yet but I was in love. That maybe the reason why I was wearing red.? Nah! I was just sporting my butterfly shirt I got for 150php. Lol! Hubby and I were getting some papers for our wedding at the embassy in Manila when we thought of visiting Fort Santiago. It was our first time there. Hopefully, there will be second time.

Hubby's Is Leaving

After almost three years of staying in the Philippines, hubby finally decided to go back to his homeland and work. He realized that it is time to continue our plans for our future which require him to go back to work. It took him three years to decide that for he doesn't want to leave me. According to him, he scared the fact that I will be beyond his sight. I am quite flattered by that but we have to do what we need to do to be able to live the life we both want in the future plus he has to sustain the wants of his wife, right? Lol. So as you have noticed, I was not that active in the blog land  for a couple of days because hubby and I have been out in the grocery stores to stock our fridge and food cabinet before he leaves. Today, we are planning to go to the immigration to pay his fines and overstay fees. I hope we will be done in there early so I can take care of my other blogs.

When some women worry about not having sufficient size of lumps on their chest, some women also worry of having too much. Having oversized breasts make you look discomfited especially if you are a small woman. Oversized breasts can as well give you discomfort and can be a problem after you give birth because they’ll possibly be sagging down to your belly due to their heavy weight.

If you are one of those women who are worrying of how to reduce those extra weights on your chest and are brave enough to undergo surgical procedures, consider Miami breast reduction at Miami Center of Plastic Surgery. With the help of Dr. Salloum who is one of the top plastic surgeons in Miami, your problem with your very large breasts will be reduced smoothly, including the excess fat on the armpit area turning them into adequate size and are proportionate with your whole body.

After undergoing breast reduction, you might as well try Miami tummy tuck to get rid of those sagging skin on your tummy as effect of pregnancy, surgery or aging. Dr. Salloum can assess you with what procedure is right for you to undertake depending on your qualification. The procedure includes mini-abdominoplasty which reduces scarring. Therefore, there is nothing much to worry on scars and little did you know, your mid-section is back to its firm and toned appearance. With their tummy tuck services, Miami Center for Plastic Surgery guarantees you a quick recovery.

Chizka Is On Her First Stage of Heat Cycle

You read the title right. Our little Chizka is turning into a little lady now for she is on her first stage of heat cycle or menstrual period for human, I mean women. I actually expected it when she turned 6 months old last June 30 which is the usual age for small dogs to start their heat cycle.  Dogs' normal heat cycle last about  three weeks having three stages.
My husband and I noticed Chizka's constant licking on her swollen delicate area earlier this week. She was also kinda' moody, picky with foods, peed a lot than normal and loved being cuddled and touched. It's when we suspected she is going to have her heat cycle. She had her heat cycle started last Tuesday. Since then, we didn't took her outside for she can surely call male dogs' attention and it is not right for her to mate around the first stage of heat cycle, it should be on the third stage. Besides, we don't want her to get pregnant this year for she is still a baby.

Save On Magazine Subscription

If you are a constant magazine reader, you should know that one year magazine subscription can save you a lot of money, time and energy than buying its new issues every month. You may ask how it can save you money, time and energy. Well, when you subscribe to a magazine that you love reading, you don’t need to spend money, time and energy on gas or fare to go to any bookstore or magazine stand. Instead you’ll just wait for it to arrive in your mailbox. You can now subscribe magazines online which is way better. Thanks to the power of Internet! I found a site that offers magazine subscriptions at affordable prices. I browsed on its available magazines to subscribe and I found Martha Stewart Living magazine with one year subscription fee of $28.00 which saves you about $31.16. Oh yeah, I am quite a fan. I like her home and living ideas and her do-it-yourself tutorials.

Today in Couple’s Corner, we will be talking about our likes and dislikes. I can’t say we, hubby and I truly know each other very well within 2 years and more of living together. We both know that there will more to know and to discover from each other. Every single day in our married life we notice and unleash new characters and attitudes. So as for two years of living together in one roof I only know few of my husband’s likes and dislikes as he knows few of mine.
Rodliz’s Nest
  1. We both like Piolo and John Loyd when acting and dislike when they are singing.
  2. He dislikes peppers; it may be bell peppers and black peppers but I like!
  3. He likes a lot of onions and tomatoes on his burger, well, I like it with just plain mayonnaise.
  4. We both like collecting movies, heavy metal music, caps, books and Xbox games and dislikes collecting empty bottles.
  5. I like sweet coffee but he dislikes. He prefers black with no sugar and cream at all.
  6. He dislikes seeing me wearing plunging neckline tops and likes seeing me wearing short shorts rather.
  7. I dislike the idea of me wearing short shorts; I can take the plunging neckline and like showing a hint of that asset. (Yeah, I am naughty.)
  8. I like disturbing him when he sleeps while he doesn’t like disturbing me when I sleep. (I am bad eh!?)
  9. I like telling him what’s bothering me while he dislikes speaking out.
  10. He likes sardine sandwich, I dislike. Just give me a plate of rice topped with sardines and tomato sauce, that's what I like
There’s a lot more but that’s all I can share for now. Have a pleasant day to you all!

I Fall In Love with a Bathroom Vanity

posted by Rechie on ,

Part of building a home is looking for necessary furnishings needed. One of those must needed furnishings is a bathroom vanity. In searching for it, one must be very meticulous in checking for its quality, durability and affordability. I did my search online for a possible bathroom vanity we may possibly use for one of our bathrooms in this current home we are living right now because it needs a major reconstruction. Since this bathroom of ours is small, I was only searching for single bathroom vanities to see something I would likely get but the photos of double bathroom vanities caught my attention. One that I fell in love with was this modern wall mount double bathroom vanity.

Isn’t it contemporarily and tremendously beautiful? I love the overall designs and ideas most especially the idea of putting racks in the middle of the mirrors. The racks could be used for little bathroom supplies that are usually used everyday. The cabinets as well were constructed perfectly that have soft European hinges used for the doors. With solid oak wood and maple finish being used, this bath vanity promises durability for several years. The lovely sinks by the way are made of porcelain topped with artificial stone. It's just so lovely! How I wish we could use this one for our new home.

Are You Looking for Glass Showcases?

Are you looking for glass showcases to display your merchandise? A glass showcase is perfect for displaying your products whether you are selling jewelries, clothes, beauty products, accessories and even little gadgets like cell phones and digital cameras. When in search for this, give sturdystoredisplays.com a visit and browse on their various types of glass showcases including extra and full vision showcases, square towers, jewelry showcases, trophy, streamline showcases, mannequin display case and my pick, the aisle showcases.

I like the aisle type of glass showcase because it would give my costumers an all around view of my products, if ever I am to open a business. I think aisle glass showcases are product friendly because you can simply put whichever products you are selling on its aisles as long as they fit. Now I am thinking of bread! Yep, you can as well display bread inside an aisle showcase if you have a bakery. It can be, isn’t it? Since this type of glass showcase is not that long and wide, this won’t steal that much of your space. Simply put this type of glass showcase in a corner of your store and you are good. Your costumers can sure see your display inside this case.

Got Disconnected

My parents have no electricity since yesterday. The electric company disconnected their power connection yesterday due to unpaid bills. They were not able to pay electric bills for three months since none of them are free to come here in city to pay. Plus mom doesn’t like bothering me when it comes to their bills because she knows I am busy too. It’s kind of a burden because unlike before, there are no more electric bill collectors which allow them to pay directly and not be bothered of traveling for almost an hour just to go to the city to pay.

So yesterday mom went to the electric office right away to pay the bills to reconnect their electricity. When mom was at the electric office here in the city, she was shocked when the teller told her she hasn’t paid for almost a year. She knows she only has three months overdue and the three bills in her hands were the proof for those are the only bills delivered to their house. The bad thing is, mom usually throws old bills especially if it is already cleared and paid. But how could it happen they just got disconnected yesterday after a year of not paying electricity when according to electric company rules, failure to pay three months bills results to electric disconnection? Is it possible that the staffs in that electric office made a mistake? For right now, we are working on fixing whatever the problem is. I am hoping it will be fixed and mom will get her electricity reconnected this Tuesday.

Spanish Subject In School

The high school where I graduated was also the school where my mother and the rest of my siblings graduated high school. It is the only private catholic school in our town. It is founded by a Spanish priest decades ago and to this day, it is continually run and directed by every priest that is assigned to our church in town. According to my mother, that school offered Spanish subject during her high school days. Although she had a hard time learning and pronouncing every Spanish word perfectly, she did learn few words from that school including our National Anthem. She can still sing it thoroughly.

When I first stepped in that school back in the year 1999, they were no longer offering Spanish subject. I was saddened by that and relieved at the same time learning from my mother that Spanish subject was hard. But it would have been nice if I graduated from that school being able speak few Spanish words fluently. Well, I guess I’ll just live the Spanish teaching in Spain where it should be. There is a great Spanish language school for people who want to study Spanish in Spain like Clic, a StudySpanishSpain school, located in the city of Seville. As to what I read during my research, Clic is known for its outstanding Spanish teaching offering a wide variety of courses such as intensive Spanish, company internships, and Spanish for juniors and teenagers. Plus it is located in one of the most beautiful cities in Spain.

Perfect Shed To Use For Your Patio

Do you have that open space outside your house that is used for chilling, for little family gatherings and/or for accepting visitors? If not, why not enhance your home by adding a little garden area or a patio. Adding  a patio to your house, especially if surrounded by beautiful flowers gives more beauty to your home. You can relax there whenever you want, whoever you are with anytime. Either you are with your other half or with your kids. It can be a great area for a family barbecue party or a whole family gathering. When in the mood of finding solitude and relaxation, your patio can also be a perfect spot.
When your patio is uncovered though, you need a shed to enjoy your patio even during the rainy and sunny days and protect it at the same time. If you are troubled in thinking of a perfect shed to use for your patio, I suggest you use awnings. Awnings, unlike big umbrellas won’t steal space and provide a wide space instead because it is directly attached to the major roofing of your house. Since it doesn’t steal space, more family members can fit in when conducting a family gathering. As a result, more family can enjoy and have fun all day long, rain or shine.

I have no new shoots of me as of the moment so let me just share you this picture above taken in a room where hubby and I stayed in Palawan during our honeymoon. The room was not that expensive. What we like about that resort we stayed was everything indulged with native stuffs and bamboos as the name implies "Kawayanan Resort". You can feel like you are very close to nature in there. This picture by the way was one of those self taken pictures of me when in a mood of cam whoring. I do not know what that little thing on my face though. I just noticed it after uploading this picture here. I am pretty sure it's not a bump. I was not aware I had that when I took this picture 2 years ago.

In The Mood To Gamble

It seems like I am in a gambling mood today. Not to any casino houses though, I still have to travel far for that. What I am trying to say is I am in an On line gambling mood. After losing some of my bucks by purchasing a card from a certain site I mentioned in my earlier post, I wish I could turn back the time and use that money I wasted in purchasing that card to online gambling instead. Who knows I could make it triple? Or if I lose, at least I had fun playing  any online casino games. In some online casinos, the minimum purchase of casino chips when you play for real money is only $25. So yes, I want to have fun by gambling online today!

Couple's Corner: Total Opposite

It's time of the week to gather again at Couple's Corner. This week, we will be talking about how a couple can be totally opposite from each other.
Rodliz’s Nest
There can never be a 100 percent compatible couple. There's got to be some differences or something they do and love in an opposite way. Although there are lots of things that my husband and I both share the same interest but there are some things also that our tastes clashed.
  1. He always thinks of today while I always think of tomorrow.
  2. He loves water than coke while I love coke than water.
  3. Obviously he loves war and scary movies while I am more on chick flicks.
  4. He hates even a smell of my dried fish and salted fish while I always crave for it.
  5. He hates hot chili peppers while I love adding more of it to my sauce.
  6. He can't stand cold water when taking a bath while I enjoy it a lot.
  7. He is more of a thinker while I am a talker.
  8. He is more on keeping his problem for himself while I am more on sharing every little thing that bothers me.
  9. He doesn't care much being in the crowd while I care a lot!
  10. He loves running his bike on top speed while it freaks the crap out of me.....because the air messes my hair up.
  11. It take him only 10 minutes to get ready when going out while it takes me an hour and half, the minimum.
  12. He is more fond on heavy metal music while I am more on love songs.
  13. He loves white wine while I love red wine that's why on our wedding day, we looked for a pink wine to toss. Lol!
I guess that's all are our differences. I can't think of anything more than that for now.  I wish you all a great Wednesday evening!

I Think I Am Scammed

I think I am scammed by bux.to therefore I am not referring you to this site. I read bad reviews about the site saying they are turning into a scam PTC site. Why I am scammed? I purchased a bux card from them for a premium membership before reading those bad reviews. That's why I am thinking I am fooled by what they promised upon purchasing that card. I do hope I am thinking wrong.

Yes, my bux card did arrive two months ago but the $10 which, as promised should be loaded to my card and the referrals didn't arrive in my accounts yet. I contacted them through email many times but I only get replies from their costumer support service staff that was obviously an automatic support system. It's really heartbreaking and disappointing that I allowed this site to fool me if ever those bad reviews are confirmed true. For now, I am still waiting for their promise.

Our Plan of Building our Dream Love Nest

Philippines is the country where my husband and I decided to build our dream love nest, our dream home. That home is still a dream for now because my husband still needs to go back to work to earn for that and for the sustenance needed for him to live here in my country for good. He is deciding to embrace a new country bearing a new citizenship for good reasons; it is a lot cheaper and more peaceful to live in the Philippines. Visiting my husband’s family will be the only reason for the both of us to fly to United States in the future.

Now back to that dream house, our plan is to build it on top of a hill. It would be a two-story house with the first level slightly dropped under the ground or a so-called sunken living room showing only some part of it and the whole second level of the house where the actual living room is at. I found a closely similar picture of our dream house which is one of the Homes for sale in Wilmington NC shown above. Isn’t it a nice house? We already spotted a beautiful green land with few hills and a brook which my husband fell in love with. Hopefully with God’s blessing, we can own that dream land where we plan to stand our dream home. My husband has a lot of dreamy plans for it.

Naming Obsolete Items I Own

Electronic wise, we truly are living in a fast-paced world nowadays. With our modernized world, it seems like inventing gadgets and stuffs is just like a blink of an eye that buying new stuff today becomes obsolete tomorrow. New trends are coming out being introduced every passing day and I can only wish to buy every new invention that is coming out in the market. If only I could.

So, here are my obsolete items with photos of my updated wish list.

1. Computers (Acer Desktop and Toshiba Satellite Laptops). When Sony Vaio laptop first introduced here in the Philippines, oh yes, I felt like Toshiba is no longer in. Everyone is using Sony Viao laptops now! Then a much smaller net book (kind of) but a much bigger than iPod came out which is this invention called iPad, I was alarmed although it didn't reach the Philippines yet but we surely can order it online. And oh, there are touch screen dual core laptops and desktop monitors nowadays.
HP Pavilion tx2500z 12.1" TOUCH-SCREEN Notebook LAPTOP PC, Latest AMD Turion X2 Ultra Dual-Core Mobile Processor ZM-80 2.1 GHz, 3GB RAM, 250GB HDD/DVD+/-RW DL, Wireless, Bluetooth, Camera, Finger Print READER, Vista Home Premium)

2. Nokia N95 Mobile Phone. When I bought my Nokia N95, it was still one of items in some people’s ‘wish list’. My classmates were shocked because I had the most expensive phone in the entire class. Then there came N97, N98 and so on and so forth. My phone is totally outdated in the list when Blackberry phones and iPhones first came out.
BlackBerry 9700 Bold Unlocked Smartphone with 3 MP Camera, Bluetooth, 3G, Wi-Fi, and MicroSd Slot --International Version with no Warranty (charcoal)

3. Xbox. Our Xbox is definitely outdated by Xbox 360. Then, lately another updated version of Xbox 360 came out, the Xbox 360 Slim. Oh, do I need to mention Sony PlayStation 3? What about Play Station Portable?
Xbox 360 250GB Console

4. Televisions. We have two televisions in the house that are totally considered obsolete nowadays. One is placed downstairs in our little living room, a Slim Flat Screen TV and one is in our room, a Tube one. These are superseded by Plasma HDTV.
Panasonic VIERA TC-P50G25 50-Inch 1080p Plasma HDTV

5. Digital Cameras. We totally have three digital cameras, Sony Cybershot W200, Nikon Coolpix S5 and Olympus Ệ500. These are considered outdated by the newly updated version of each. Oh please, don’t let me mention the touch screen version of Sony cybershot digital camera in my wish list.
Sony Cyber-shot DSC-TX1/H 10MP "Exmor R" CMOS Digital Camera with 3-inch Touch-Screen LCD (Grey)

6. Portable Music Player. I have a portable cassette player which was known as “walkman”. It was very popular back then. I just checked it 3 days ago if it is still working and it still is. After walkman, portable cd player came out. I have it too and still working but totally outdated by touchscreen mp4 players with wifi for quite a long time now.

NEW 8GB 3" TFT TouchScreen MP3 / MP4 / MP5 player (Plays AVI/RM/RMVB/FLV without conversion Now!)

7. Printer. With wireless all-in-one printer, oh yeah, my Epson Stylus C90 printer has been totally outdated.
Epson WorkForce 600 Wireless All-in-One Printer (Black) (C11CA18201)

This is plain to say that whatever you buy off the shelf today is considered outdated because manufacturers already have it in the process for update.  Whatever you have that many might considered obsolete, don't give it up as long as it is still working. I am not giving up mine but I do wish for updated versions. I just wish!
