So...here we go!

1. While the cat's away they are more likely looking for someone to mate.

2. That's fabuloso!

3. Children should not grow big so they stay cute.

4. I feel exhausted when I get home from the market.

5. This may seem odd, but  I don't like working when I am told or pressured.

6. Spending the Halloween with family is what I planned and that seems like a fine idea to me!

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to sleep early, tomorrow my plans include spending a night at my parents' and Sunday, I want to visit the graves of my loved-ones who passed away!

CC: I Will Do It Tomorrow

It's been a long time since I last participated the conversation in Couple's Corner. I kind of missing it but I was not inspired lately to write something about my married life. Well, were in a war zone recently and I was depressed with family problem I've been facing.
Rodliz’s Nest
Anyway, the topic today caught my attention because I have a few to write about or more likely to complain about. (Peace baby, I still love you!) I am not making this post long so I better start now.

1. Painting walls. Two months after we moved in here in our little abode, hubby decided to change the paint on the living to kitchen wall which he did but didn't able to finish until now. Well, he kept saying he'll finish painting tomorrow.
2. Washing Dishes. here are times when hubby would represent himself to wash the dishes after meal but everytime he represents himself I end up washing it before I go to bed.
3. Paying bills. Hubby sometime set paying bills aside that's why sometimes we end up receiving notice of disconnection.

There are few more things that hubby needs or represents himself to do yet setting aside after a minute like fixing the water pipes in the bathroom and kitchen which I've taken care of lately. That or he is being forgetful. When he says "I will do it tomorrow" or "I will finish it tomorrow", all I can say is "Yeah right!" silently. I know I set things aside and tell him "I'll do it tomorrow" too.

I was having goose bumps while watching this video. I am just so proud of this dance group from Dipolog City, Zambo. del Norte joining show time even though I am only a new resident. They make us proud by representing not only our city from the whole Zambo. del Norte province. Although I didn't able to watch this live on TV, I am glad somebody took a video and uploaded this on youtube.

Pick Your Own Wedding Music

Wedding is one of the grandest occasions to celebrate. As a woman, I agree that women are more meticulous when it comes to the details of their wedding. Women would more likely get themselves busy just to do the planning according to their preference of a perfect wedding. Everything should be planned and arranged perfectly from the church and venue to the smallest piece of wedding venue tickets to meet the expectation of the wedded couples and guests. One thing that cannot be forgotten for a woman on her wedding  day is the wedding music, particularly the music to be used for her wedding march.
Choosing a personal music to play for the bride's march is a sweet act for it's like expressing the bride's earnest love and devotion towards her groom. For those bride-to-be out there who are in the middle of planning their wedding, I suggest you to pick your personal wedding music most especially for your wedding march. You'll surely touch your groom's heart the more and will tearfully wait for you on the altar while you are marching.

A Shocking Water Bill

All of us homeowners in Orchid Villas received a very shocking notice from the city water district yesterday. As in nerve rocking, heart-pounding and air grasping notice. The notice stated (as you can read above) that we, the Orchid Villas home owners have an unpaid water bill of one hundred sixty eight thousand six hundred thirty four pesos and eighty centavos or Php168, 634.80 as of September 20, 2010. It as well stated in the notice that failure to pay this by the end of this month results to disconnection of our main water line. We had a meeting yesterday regarding this matter. For now, we have to talk to the developer about this notice we received and consult to the water district as to why we were informed late regarding the leak. I will never pay this amount, that’s for sure!

Pipeline Problem

What an unfortunate night I have tonight. I am about to take a bath an hour ago when I heard a showering sound from downstairs. When I rushed down to check, it was the pipe connecting the sink was the problem. It gone so rusty that it collapsed I guess. I didn't know how to fix it so I had no choice but to turn off the main line of water. Meaning, I have to postpone my night bath and wait in the morning after I get the pipe fixed. So for tonight, I have to endure my stinky self.

Helping My Brother With His Reaction Paper

Finally, the final examinations will soon be over. For the meantime, I can breath fresh air not thinking about  when will be the next tuition payment. But before final exams, students are given loads of projects to be passed on the exact deadline. One is a reaction paper. Today, my brother asked me to help him with his reaction paper. So, to help him, I asked him to read the articles on the reading material given to him and write down his own answers to the question below the articles then later I'll do the editing.

So here is his. I did my best to edit the spelling and grammatical errors (I know I am not that good either) but the main thought is his. The question is "If you were the master of the vessels which met tragic accidents, what precautions you are supposed to make?"
In times of tragic accidents on voyage, first thing that we can think of is to save our life but if I were the master of the vessel which met tragic accidents, I should think of saving the lives of the passengers also and hopefully the vessel by making precautions. I am more familiar of the Titanic disaster. In the case of Titanic, base on what I’ve seen on the movie, one major life threat during that voyage was the freezing weather causing iceberg. Also, there were insufficient numbers of lifeboats loaded on the vessel. Therefore, only few people were saved. I could have asked more life boats since asking the passengers to wear life jackets and jump off the boat to save their selves won’t help. Indeed the cold sea water temperature could kill one’s life in about 15 minutes due to Hypothermia (a condition in which core temperature drops below 35.0 °C).

About the SS WILHELM GUSTLOFF cruise ship, if I were the master of the vessel, I was surely in trouble because I was dealing with a watercraft that can independently operate below the sea water surface. Submarine can attack silently not being seen. I think, lifeboats and life jackets would be useful.

Different sea disaster has different reasons. But whatever reasons are, being the master of the vessel, I would strongly advice myself first to stay calm, that way I can think of possible ways and ask for help right away in any means to save the passengers’ lives. I would also advice the crew to stay calm and stay alert and attentive to their duties. Lastly, there should be enough lifeboats and life jackets basing on all passengers head counts.
I hope this can help stretch his marks and pass. I wish him luck! Anyway, to my blogging friends, thanks for all your visits. I know I've neglected my blogs lately. Well, I am hoping to be back on track. Have a nice day/evening to you all!

I Wanna Be A Chic Vampire This Halloween

Halloween is fast approaching. By the end of this month, the kids will then be doing the trick or treat wearing all those various costumes. Did you already prepare for that upcoming dress up game? I am sure some of you have already prepared for that. Some for sure have already bought halloween costumes for themselves or for their kids. To those who haven’t thought and found perfect Halloween costumes yet I suggest you to visit Costume Cauldron. In Costume Cauldron, you can find a huge selection of awesome Halloween costumes for everyone, starting from toddlers to adults. Costume Cauldron ships to everywhere in the world and offers money back guarantee. It is indeed an awesome store to shop online.

As for me, I feel like dressing up like a vampire lately. I am influenced by the Twilight movie which I watched over and over again. I don’t mind chasing after Victoria along with the Cullens to keep my idol, Bella safe. Among the vampire Halloween costumes at Costume Cauldron, I found one that is of my taste. It is a Veinia Vampire Halloween Costume for Adults. I like its chic and sexy design. The costume tells a story that not all vampires wear a long cape and a long gown. Now for my baby girl, if I only have one, I would like to dress her up as well. For a beginner, a princess Halloween costume will do. There’s one that caught my interest among in the kids halloween costumes selection.
