I Don't Know How This Blog Became A Phishing Site

Before opening this site or blog of mine, i was redirected to a page that says this blog of mine is a phishing site as I have encountered the same problem to some of the sites I was wanting to visit. Now, I would like to ask my visitors if they've encountered it too upon visiting this site. Well, I do hope you'll be able to read this. So, ok, I was redirected to a page that says my blog is a phishing site. I was like "WTH!" how can my site be a phishing site? What did I do? I am very much aware that I didn't do something or installed something bad to my site to become a scam site. Then I clicked on "Learn more about phishing scams" and this showed up:

I do appreciate the warning.  It is for our computer's safety but before the "What is phishing info", I noticed something above it. Google is offering an extension which is  Favorite Doodle extension. It made me think, how can this extension help this problem? Then, i went on reading the info about phishing scams. I couldn't stop knitting my brows while reading. I am wondering how this blog of mine scamming somebody. Well, I have a feeling that Google is just getting my attention to install its extension. I just took it that way and went back to my site again and clicked on "Proceed Anyway". It's my site for gummy's sake!

Boggle Me Thursday No. 1

It is my first time participating Boggle Me Thursday meme. I found this meme at Kat's blog of Mom's Place while blog hopping and I found it very interesting especially having the time limit of 3 minutes.  To somebody who are honest enough to follow the instructions, this game is a very interesting challenge to face. Today, I am up for the challenge and these are the only words I came up within the 3 minutes countdown.

week_37_1-1
run   sun   got   nuns   goat   goats  fat  fats   runs   too   gas   nag   sag   sat   oat   oats    tag   git   fang  fangs  tan   tans   lung   lungs   goo   tags   tag   fag   fags   fangs   fang

Words after 3 minutes:
nags  sang  sung  snag  stag  toot  rung  fan  fans fast

Sentences using the words I found:
1. I run to the forest. / She runs so fast.
2. The sun is shining so bright.
3. I got to go to my optical doctor tomorrow.
4. I always admire nuns for their modest behavior.
5. I never tasted goat meat yet even before when we were raising goats to sell.
6. Having these unwanted fats around my waist made me think I am fat.
7. She is too beautiful to be dumped.
(More sentences Later, I got to get ready for the brownout...which will be anytime soon...)

Rodliz’s Nest
We never really had a big plan on Valentine's.  Hubby at that time was really sad and was in the state of grief for the death of his grand mother.  The burial was on Valentine's day, so I understood why we didn't go out to celebrate the hearts day. Our day went well, hubby cooked for breakfast and me for lunch. Then in the afternoon, we ordered foods for our Valentine's dinner. It was just a simple date yet memorable for the two of us. And yes, i didn't receive any flower but hubby got my broken phone fixed. So, it was kind of a Valentine's gift.

We do not know what will gonna happen tomorrow but as much as possible, we will try to keep our love burning today and hope for it to burn again tomorrow.  We will keep the love for each other and cherish every moment that we are together and say how much we love each other everyday.

I only tried having breakfast in bed in a hotel in Manila. It was during the first meeting and that was it. We've never had breakfast in bed here in the house. When our food is cooked, we will go downstairs and eat together.

Rotating Brownout in Mindanao

We are having daily rotating brownout due to power shortage caused by El Niño since the first week of February. During the first two weeks, the brownout here in our area was every 2 hours, from 7 to 9 in the evening. Yet, this Monday and Tuesday, the brownout took 8 hours, from 9 in the morning until 5 in the afternoon.  Many business owners here in the City started complaining with how the brownout affects their livelihood. It affects ours too because everything we have in our house are all electrical equipments from our rice cooker to our burner. Well, I am so glad that we didn't had a brownout this morning. I hope we will be back to two-hour rotating brownout. That, we can take but not 8 hours of no air condition or at least electric fan to think the weather is extremely hot.  I feel so sad of hubby who's not used of having no air to sweat all day.

Now, how El Niño causes our power shortage here in Mindanao? I would like to share this with you:

(Source)
A prolonged dry spell is expected to further worsen the already critical power supply in southern Mindanao, a power firm executive said on Wednesday.

Joseph Nocos, Conal Holdings Corp. vice president for business development, cited falling water levels at Lake Lanao in Lanao del Sur province that fuels the Agus hydroelectric power complex.

“The country’s weather [bureau] Pagasa has said that the country will experience a long dry spell during the summer. This will affect [adversely] generating capacities of hydropower plants in Mindanao,” Nocos said.

As of February 9, the water level in Lake Lanao was only 19 centimeters above critical level. The lake is 699.34 meters above sea level and its critical point is 699.15 meters above sea level.

Mindanao’s power supply is heavily reliant on the Agus and Pulangi hydro facilities, which make up nearly half of its generating capacity.

A Free-Spirited Couple

Hubby and I met online on the year 2006. We became lovers when we personally met at same year, became an engaged couple on 2007 and became husband and wife on May 18, 2008. Hubby gave up his work and his country for a while to be with me here in the Philippines after our wedding.
We consider ourselves as a free-spirited couple because we do what we want to do and live our life in our very own way free from people's opinions and unfair judgement. We are both kids at heart who love to play Xbox and PC games, cards, scrabble and domino. Since we are not blessed with a baby yet, we found a kid playmate in each other. There are times that we get silly with each other, tickle each other and share lots and lots of laugh with each other in and outside our home. If we share time to play, we also have time to share household chores. One thing I love about my husband is that he helps (he needs to be asked sometimes when he get too busy with his PC game) me with household chores like doing the laundry, washing dishes, gardening, cleaning the house and cooking. Helping me with my responsibility as a wife doesn't bother him and him helping me doesn't bother me either.

We do have our own beliefs. It was hard to accept that during the first 2 months of our marriage but later on, we were able to accept that we were raised in different countries.  Since then, we  learned to respect each other more including our beliefs and understanding of life. Thus, we respect other people's beliefs and ways of life. We are happily living together now for 2 years in our little love nest inside a gated community. We have lived our life in our own way and we will be for the years to come, unaffected by other people's negative thoughts. Me and him and the way we live our lives is all the matters to us.

Our Moments on Valentine's Night

Hubby and I had a candlelight dinner.  Actually the power/electricity went off that night when our foodies (we ordered) was delivered but we already planned on lighting the red candle we bought before the Valentine's day, anyway. Good thing I was able to take pictures of the foods (visit Chuchie's Kitchen Adventure for photos) before the brown out.  Since the power was off, it was indeed a candlelight dinner for us having our simple yet favorite foods on our table and two glasses of brandy and coke.
After our V dinner, we just chilled on the couch, enjoyed each other's company while having our drinks using the red candle as our light.  It was the most romantic Valentine's night for us so far by celebrating it at home.  Hubby didn't feel like going out that night to party for that day, Valentine's day, was the burial of his beloved grandmother.  After two hours brown out, the power went back.  We still stayed on the couch and watched American Championship Pair skiing on Solar Sports.
While in the middle of watching TV, hubby seemed bored watching my favorite pair skiing and thought of drawing my next tattoo.  He's been suggesting to me to have my second tattoo but I didn't answer 'yes' yet for I was not able to get over with the scary sound of the tattoo machine and the pain I've endured with my first tattoo - a butterfly indulged with "American Flag" on my right leg.

Since he insisted, I let him draw his tattoo art on my foot.  He was so serious while drawing it and was so serious of having his art be part of my skin - a real tattoo.  As you can see in the pictures, hubby drew a toe ring with two lines of chain up and crisscross above my ankle and crisscross again up my calf and locked it in the front with a heart locker having our names "Gary Chie" on it.
Well, here is hubby's art. He murdered my foot/ leg! LOL! But he is so proud of it and I am so proud of him for spending time drawing this tattoo, my second tattoo according to him. I'll think about it.

Valentine Tag

I got a tag from Tejan of Insights last February 13 and I just posted it today. I am so sorry sis for grabbing the tag late.  I was just really busy with everything's going on here at home plus the Valentine's day. Thank you so much sis for sharing this heart day tag with me.

Here are some simple mechanics:
1. Post this tag in your blog (multiple blogs allowed) with these mechanics.
2. Don’t forget to use the widget above linking to the site.
3. Post a photo of anything that has the color red.
4. Include also a saying or quote related to LOVE or the LOVE MONTH.
5. Tag as many as you can and instruct them to get back to Arlene's site to leave their url if they have joined.

"A gift goes a long way towards insuring domestic peace.
In other words, a man looking to the future never forget the present"
This is hubby's first Valentine surprise for our first Valentine being an engaged couple. Since we were not able to celebrate it together because of his work, he hid this gift and card somewhere in my apartment back in  January 2008 before he left for work. On the 13th of Feb. 08, he sent an instant message telling me to open my Valentine gift from him on the 14th and told me where he hid it.

Since Valentine's day is over, I would like to just keep this award.  Have a great day to you all!

A Dream Car

posted by Rechie on ,

One of our earnest dreams in life is to have our own car especially if we are working and the workplace is far from home. Having our own car would take us faster to our desired destination than riding a bus and any means of public transportation, not to mention the time wasted in waiting. One thing I hate in riding a bus is I can't let the bus driver stop somewhere safe for me to pee. Well, if we have our own car, we are a lot more comfortable.

Having my own car is one of my dreams actually which I do not have yet. Hubby and I made an agreement that if I'll get pregnant, it is the time that I or we will be needing a car for transportation especially in visiting my parents which take us 30 to 45 minutes in riding hubby's bike. It take us one hour sometimes when the roads get crazy with traffic.

Earlier today, searching for cars online popped in my head. So, I did a search to feed my eyes with luxurious autos. As I was in the middle of my search, I came across Phoenix auto dealers. I looked at their new inventory and I was really drooling over the shining 4 wheeled  luxury right on my computer screen. The car you see in the picture is 2010 Mercedes Benz C350 4-Door Sedan. It caught my attention! Its transmission is automatic with 3.5 V6 engine. This would really be a nice car to drive around.

Short Post (Update)

This is just a short post to inform you my dear blogging friends that my computer was crashed. It took 2 days for the Octagon Computer Fixer to fix the computer. I will talk about it later tonight...I have to check and take care of my beloved hubby. He is not feeling well.
Thank you so much for the visit! Mwahhh! I Love You All!
The note above was written earlier today. And as promise, here I am talking about my absences in blogging.  Usually, if not busy, I get off from my computer for a day only. That is to have a day break and get my mind off from thinking of what I am going to post.  To  those who are avid visitors of this blog of mine, surely they've noticed  my absences.  I do thank you all for your visits.
Ok, here is what happened to my computer, particularly the CPU. There were some wirings exploded in the motherboard after i got trojan virus (from the MP3 i downloaded - my fault because I failed to do anti virus live update). The computer screen then turned black.  So we took the computer to Octagon Computer Shop where we bought it 2 years ago and got a new motherboard replacement. It took 2 days for the fixer to fix the computer due to the current power or electricity problem here in the city.

A Happy Baby Girl Named Maja

Hubby and I were visited by a happy baby girl last Tuesday. Her name is Maja, the daughter of our distant cousin. He visited us with my brother last Tuesday.  They know that I am more than frustrated to have a baby that's why (maybe) they took this pretty little girl with them.
Look at her. She seemed to be having no problem at all. She is a pretty good girl. Among the babies in our family, she is the best. Just let her sit down comfortably, give her something to play with and she is set. You'll never hear her cry unless she is hungry or she's hurt.
Oh, she is 8 months old by the way. Yep, she is a big girl, a very healthy and a very happy baby. I don't mind taking care of this baby for life, as long as she just stays as she is. I mean, if she won't grow up. Lol!
She looks so cute when she smiles. She was curious with what I was doing when I took picture of her. I told her to smile and she did.
Here is hubby and baby Maja. He was letting the baby sleep.  When the baby was half asleep, he gave the baby to me and baby Maja slept in my arms. It was a very nice feeling. I felt like I was really a mother.
