Chizka Turns 4 Months Old Today

Chizka turns 4 months old today, April 30, 2010.  She's getting  fatter and a little taller about an inch. No wonder because she's drinking fresh milk everyday plus some of our meat every meal except chicken. She's kind of allergic with it.

Along with it is getting her spoiled everyday.  All our (hubby and me) attention is to her which is supposedly for our first baby. Well, she deserves our attention, love and care because she is a very good girl. She's our princess. Happy 4 months old Chizka!

I Got A New Computer Monitor

I got a new computer monitor yesterday as a replacement to my 2 years old broken monitor. Yes, broken, after I broke it with my punches. Lol. I was frustrated because the lag was really freaking me and worst, after long hours of waiting for my page to show up, the monitor went all white. The impatient me waited for about 30 minutes yet nothing happened. It's when I decided to totally trash it for it is of no use no more. It's understandable though, it had been with me for more than 2 years and it served its purpose on me very well. So yesterday, hubby got me a new one.

Hubby got me a Samsung brand this time, my old one is Acer.
Same with my old monitor, flat screen and

17" wide screen.

I still have its plastic on. Just being extra careful with this new monitor. It's always like that when having new things, I am afraid to get it dirty wish ashes since I smoke in front the computer. The ashed wall is enough.

Humor Me Makoy's Contest: I Seriously Need to go _ _ _!

I've been a follower of all Makoy’s Blogs. I even subscribed all his blogs via email so I’ll be notified of his latest posts especially his raves and rants that would surely bring a smile on the lips to his readers. I may not read all his blog posts but I do read and leave comments to some of it. Lately, I received invitation from him to join his humor contest. And being a procrastinator as I am, it took me 3 days before this contest ends to post my entry. So, I was inspecting through his old posts to find the most humorous post he has, the post entitled The Christmas Party Story caught my attention. It’s a story about celebrating a different kind celebration with different people, far from the kind of celebration he have experienced back to his home land. Thanks goodness there was an exchange gift though, or else Makoy would think of flying home for Christmas. Lol. Ok, why I found this story funny? If you haven’t read this post yet, let me tell you why. I found this post funny because during the exchange gift, of all the numbers Makoy has to pick, he picked the number of his own gift!

I have also a funny story (for me, I don’t know if it is for you) to tell that happened last year in a party where hubby and I were invited. Oh no, it’s not a Christmas party but a 1st birthday party of our friends’ (Filipina and American couple) son. When you think about 1st birthday, it has to be the most extravagant among any birthday celebrations in our lives for it is the very first birthday. I remember, aside the foods on the buffet and roasted pigs; they as well hired Jollibee catering service with a mascot for the kids’ amusement. I even stroked a pose with the mascot.

So there were lots of foods including roasted pigs, side dishes, cakes and desserts.  And me who was drooling over the foods tasted all that was served on the buffet especially the desserts. Now my mouth is watering. Hubby and I usually use one plate only for the both of us when we go to a party but that day we had separated plates. After satisfying myself with the foods, I started chitchatting with our friends – my co-foreigner’s wives and the husband as well had a fun conversation over their bottles of beer. In the middle of the party though, I felt something bad inside that I needed to let out. My husband noticed that something was wrong with me through my reaction and reflection on my face. He asked me if I was ok but I answered I wanted us to go home in a stern and final voice. He was asking for explanation as to why I wanted to go home all of sudden in the middle of the fun yet he didn’t get an answer. In his knitted brows he said “ok, let’s go home.” The rest of our friends were all puzzled.

We were both silent on our way home. He knows that when I am silent, I am mad of somebody who is bad mouthing on me and on us wherever we are and I don’t like discussing it on the road.  When we arrived home, just as when we rode off the bike, he held my hands and asked in a cool and patient voice “what is wrong with you this time?” I answered, “Baby, I seriously need to go poo!” and rushed to the bathroom. The next day, when we had our usual Filipina-Foreigner couples gathering, the wives asked me “what was wrong with you on the party?”

Laser Treatment for Unwanted Hairs and Wrinkles

Many have suffered unwanted hair growing on the areas which they would rather it not. To some, it’s not a big problem but to others it is. If you are a woman and you are starting to have hairs growing around your lips or if you have that thick hairs growing on your legs, would you not freak out?
I actually know a girl back in my college days who has hair growing around her upper lip. It was really a big problem of hers because the more she shaves the longer it grows. I could have told her about laser hair removal if I only knew about it back then so she can get rid of her noticeable mustache that was affecting her social life. She is not supposed to have that. To men, having mustache is normal although there are some who rather not have it but not to women.
If you are also having problems with unwanted hairs and tired of shaving it every single day, you better try laser hair removal. When it comes to laser hair removal, go for Celibre, the best choice of Laser Hair Removal in Los Angeles. So if you want to get rid of those thick hairs growing down your legs, on your armpits and in any areas of your body, you better give Celibre Dermatologist a try and enjoy effective laser skin care treatment. Celibre also offers Botox Treatment helping you get rid of those fine lines and wrinkles appearing on your skin.

Tucking Chizka In Bed

Here is Chizka as we tucked her in bed. That's her blanket right there, supposedly the bed sheet but she kept biting on it and so I used it as her blanket for easy biting. She is that spoiled by me for she is like a real baby to me.
We usually tuck her in bed after few minutes play time followed by tickling and belly rubbing around 10 p.m. Hubby and I sleep around 2 a.m. so the bed is all hers for 4 hours. We don't leave her until she totally falls asleep.
From time to time, I check her out to put her blanket back on since she has one of a kind sleeping positions. I make sure she is always covered with blanket to avoid her from having colds and cough due to a very cold room which is hubby's desired temperature when sleeping. Well, Chizka loves it too.

Chizka's Sleeping Spot

This is where Chizka sleeps during daytime. This is during I iron and fold the clean clothes. I usually iron 5-10 clothes everyday around 2-3 in the afternoon, that is when we have washed or cleaned clothes. Then I sleep after that. I Yeah, I am lazy and so as my Chizka. When I iron and fold the clothes, she is there with me too watching until she slowly falls asleep on the carpet. She just don't want to be alone plus she likes to be in an air conditioned room.

During night time, of course, she is sleeping on the bed with us. That right there, in the photo above, is her sleeping place beside me. And she knows that it's her place. That's how smart she is. When we put her in bed, it means play time for a few and then bed time. Plus, she is not allowed to pee. When she wants to pee, she simply barks at us and then we take her outside to pee.
You are not too camera shy girl.

Above are more photos of here catching sleep. She is just so cute and very lovable. For me, she is always a good view to capture or I am just too happy to have her. I actually have more photos of her sleeping but I will upload it next time. I have to get my early breakfast here now and I need check on my sleeping babies (hubby and Chizka).

Chizka's First Attempt To Climb On Stairs

posted by Rechie on

During Chizka's first 3 days with us, she's usually carried by me or by hubby when we go up and down the stairs. We could feel her trembling body by carrying her up and down. She seemed scared that she might fall down the stairs. When days passed, she gets too curious with the new things in the new place around her. One of the things that got her curiosity was the stairs. She kept eying on it everytime we are downstairs watching TV or having dinner. She must be thinking why can't she do it. One night, she tried to climb the stairs and hubby and me were just watching her.
I can sense in this picture how scared she was.

The determined Chizka finally up there. Now, she looked back and check how she did it or how tall the stairs were.

Ok gurl, strike a pose first before you continue your journey upstairs!

Help me down please!!!

Fine, I can use some time to think.

Before we went to bed, Chizka made it upstairs. To her excitement, she came up and down the stairs several times. She was exhausted that she fell asleep faster that night.
